11.2b — Create PT: Submit as Final
Today the Create PT becomes COLLEGE BOARD PROPERTY. You will open the Digital Portfolio, upload the program, the video, and the PPR, and press the button your teacher cannot press for you. Then — a unit's worth of weight off — we pivot to the exam itself.
What goes in the Digital Portfolio (three things, in order):
- Program code (the .zip or the single file): your whole project — including the lines your PPR cites, verbatim
- Video: your sub-60s one take (11.2a)
- PPR: uploaded as your exam-day reference
That is the whole April submission. The four written responses are not part of it — you write those in Bluebook on May 14, with your PPR open. The drafts you wrote in 11.1e are your notes for that day, not a Portfolio upload.
The final final check — read aloud with a partner:
- Every code excerpt in the PPR exists verbatim in the submitted program
- Video plays from the Portfolio preview (not just your disk)
- No names, no school, no faces without permission forms
Then Submit as Final. The deadline is
April 30, 11:59 PM ET — you are submitting EARLY, because
upload failures happen and the Portfolio does not care whose
fault. Take the confirmation screenshot (yes, really) and put
it in your repo: commit "11.2b: SUBMITTED".
The exam is next. Your Create PT is in — and it shares that 30% of your score with the four written-response prompts you will answer about it on exam day. The other 70% rests on the multiple-choice section alone. Both happen May 14, 8:00 AM, Session 1, in Bluebook: 70 multiple-choice questions (120 minutes), then 4 written responses (60 minutes) — WR1/WR2 on the END-OF-COURSE exam are the real thing, and your 11.1e drafts were rehearsal for exactly these; your PPR is open for all four. Everything from 9.1 to here is now MC practice material.
Socratic: Submitted Is Not In Progress
- Which part of the submission would you have gotten wrong if you had done this alone at home?
- The program, the video and the PPR are now College Board property. Is there anything in any of the three you would not want a stranger to see — and is that a problem?
- The deadline is national and it does not move. What is your plan if the upload fails at 11:50 PM on April 30?
Checkpoint — before moving on, you must be able to:
- See the Portfolio confirmation (screenshot in repo)
- Verify the three uploaded artifacts match the final code, the final video, and the final PPR
- State what is done: the Create PT is submitted — part of the 30% block, banked
- State what remains: May 14, 8 AM, Bluebook — the 70% MCQ section, plus the 4 written responses that share that same 30% block
